In recent days, our company "Monicol" were honored to welcome high-ranking guests, His Excellency Mr. Kent Doyle Logsdon, the Ambassador of the United States of America in the Republic of Moldova, and Ms. Julie Limoges, Economic Officer of the U.S. Embassy.
We visited together our organic certified plum and walnut orchards, planted near the pride of Moldova, forest “Codru”, in the vicinity of the village Nimoreni. We also organized a tour of our production halls, where His Excellency got acquainted with the production processes for the processing of walnuts and dried fruits.
During this visit we discussed with His Excellency Ambassador Kent Doyle Logsdon and Ms. Julie Limoges about the management and production processes of "Monicol" factory, the company's development prospects, as well as about the export of our products to the EU countries and U.S. market with an aim to increase the volumes soon.
Currently, "Monicol" exports to U.S. range of “Fruit2go” products, fruit brandy and sour cherry liquor.
We greatly appreciate the opportunity to host senior officials from U.S. Embassy in Moldova, which allowed us to present the efforts we have been making for over 22 years to obtain high-quality products manufactured in Republic of Moldova, the potential of "Monicol" company that continues to contribute to the economic development of our country, and to promote Moldova on the international market.
Finally, but not least, we would like to point out that "Monicol" has collaborated with several partners in the development projects of its activity, including USAID, Future Technologies Project, which is funded by USAID, Sweden, and the United Kingdom, and other World Bank projects. This partnership has brought some significant benefits to our company, such as technical assistance and grants.
